Dungeons and Dragons

Perhaps the best known TTRPG out there, this giant of a game has just celebrated its 50th annniversary, and it’s not done growing yet.
Have you ever wanted to slay a dragon, save a kingdom, and become unbelievably powerful, all while sitting on the couch with your friends? you’re not alone.
Dungeons and Dragons is an undeniable favourite amongst many, and for good reason. Originally inspired by lord of the rings, this fantasy rpg has almost no limits to what you can do in terms of setting, story and characters. If your heart beats for magic and adventure, dungeons and dragons has something for you.
There are many iterations of this game through the years, and many pre written adventures for you to dive into if writing your own seems too overwhelming. A new edition, One DnD has recently hit the market, but the most played at the moment is still the 5th edition which has been around for a decade now.
To play, you need the players handbook and “standard gaming dice”. The dungeon masters guide, and the monster manual are nice additions, but you can do without them.
You can start exploring the vast array of books and content on the official store, or visit your local gaming store.
